Fiber Arts Night
and the final Memory Quilting Class
Hello Fiber Art Friends,
It was so special to meet so many of you on Saturday at the Fabric Swap. I am eager to have another one soon and of course get to see more of y’all at the events and classes I have coming up this year!
On to announcements:
1st: I am teaching a new curriculum for improvised quilting at Hoop and Bee!
This fall I will be teaching a 6 week class on improvising through the structure of a sampler quilt. The first four classes, we will tackle two techniques of improvising and students will complete two blocks based on those skills learned. These blocks will be composed into a sampler quilt top that I will show you how to prep, pin and quilt into a finished quilted wall hanging or blanket.

2nd: The LAST CLASS of the Memory Quilting Workshop Series is
THIS WEDNESDAY August 20th AT 5:30-7:30
This is an amazing time to come get help from me regarding improvised quilting projects and exchange ideas with other creators. These past few weeks have been so special and I've been learning so much in engaging with all of your work and enjoyed getting to share my quilting philosophies with you all.
Please bring your own sewing machines and memory fabric. I have some fabric, thread, scissors, cutting mats and ironing supplies to share.
3rd: FIBER ARTS NIGHT is AUGUST 26th
And I made this poster with the dates for the rest of the year so you all can mark your planners. I hope to see you there next week with your crocheting, weaving, mending, scheming, and otherwise!
Talk more soon!
Thank you for reading!
Love,
Sarah King
